Generally, data exfiltrations are targeted attacks where the hacker’s/cracker’s primary intent is to find and copy specific data from the target machine. The hackers/crackers gain access to the target machine through a remote application or by directly installing a portable media device. Statistically, these breaches mainly occurred on systems with a vendor-set default password or very common/easy passwords.

Is Invincea using scare tactics to sell "Freespace" (also notice the multi year licensing is available on Freespace only.)

How much longer will sandboxie as we know and love it be availabe? What do you guys think?

I bought and paid for The lifetime/perpetual license too. This also worries me, I beleive sooner than later Invincea will kill that off.

Sandboxie is for regular people while FreeSpace is for business environments (and so are the features), of course they added it to the list because it has similar features, they wanna promote their own code but that's fine, they own everything. They could even remove Sandboxie as free version if they wanted (which might happen maybe in the future, who knows).

I could have spent some bucks for a lifetime license but a subscription based licensing for software is a no-go for me, always, if i wanna subscribe for something i do it on brazzers. :P

Yeah, they killed sandboxie, my sandboxie gives SBIE erros all the time with the new version released last month. It became unusable.

Sandboxie works fine still. No errors here. Invincea is for businesses and I guess they are adding SB to their current software.

Hmmm. I have never got that error and SB is working fine for me...I am just concerned about the future of SB.

Yes, browser, and programs, nothing works. W8.1 with all the updates.

That usually occurs when it hasn't started properly at boot. Maybe reinstall.

I tried to reinstall it, this was the first thing that came in my mind too, and the problem is still there. It isn't a cracked version. I recived a gift key from a friend. Maybe it's not compatible with RollBack anymore.

What? Pro also won't be updated anymore then, cause they (Free and Pro) share the same source code!? Not sure where you read that, the software updating service thingy for FreeSpace in the chart is a totally different story, it is for enterprises/business environments. Besides that, Sandboxie also has been updated on 19th Jan, already acquired from Invincea since Dec 2013.

IDM integration in Sandboxed Firefox doesn't work in Windows 8.1 64-bit.Still Invincea dev's haven't been able to fix it...

I experienced the same thing as AlexCross did.

Feel sorry to say SBIE is dying..... :(

Lockdown software is Host Intrusion Protection Software (HIPS) and Panda advance bootscanner may be an option in Panda AV.

HIPS works with whitelists not with blacklists.

Yep; but that,s not totally what I meant. (S.D. WITH V/R) if U catch my Drift. U can roll over HIPS if U know what u,r doing in military Class Fire Walls. Also, U don,t need Panda A.V. for BootScan. Only Panda light Cloud Scanner(cleaner) in Advance Mode ;)
