If the computer is infected, the best way is to boot from a rescue disk.

Some anti-virus companies offer that, like Avira.

I made one kaspersky rescue disc in USB.

I hope i can run this on my friend's PC which is infected.

is it really possible or i can use only in the PC in which I made this rescue disc?

friend,

this is 592 MB.

i'll try this if Kaspersky doesn't work!

Any how thanks for your suggestion.

Well yes, given what it contains, however it's the only cd / usb you'll ever need, hope you don't actually need it, and the Kaspersky usb works. :)

Sorry friends,

within my very limited knowledge i couldn't solve this problem as i couldn't write the kaspersky iso image on my USB(left it overnight) nor how to write it on CD and hence i have opted for my usual method.(whatelse, format!)

Thanks for your guidances!

regs,

@ gren, if your having a problem making a rescue disk and it is not to late ( or for next time), try Malwarebytes Chameleon, could not be easier to use
