yeah he can report that ip for spamming etc its up to the isp to forward it to the user if enough sites reported you spaming the isp could dissconect you etc

unless of course you use a vpn then its a diffrent matter assuming they protect you for instance as far as nsane forum knows right now im in canada "well of course i have my contry set to usa because i am there but i could easily change that to"

Okay I lied. It wasn't my friend, it was me.

If you read my post carefully you'd see I'm saying that I'm re-registering

sure they can...I could contact them if I wanted to. The problem is that you will get to talk to somebody that gives a shit. Most operators are outsourced and are not paid shit so its usually a "yes sir" on the phone and then a "who cares" after they hang up. As far as a website like nsane  goes I think we can all agree that it would be rather unproductive for an admin to contact anyones ISP. Besides they have their own way of dealing with such matters, or atleast they should! Good luck.

No, they can apparently trace your end host and end device to a physical location.

Online anonymity is a myth unfortunately unless you' really geeky...lol

I doubt the isp would be too bothered, they may feel it necessary to report to the police or security orgs if the complaint centered around child porn, threats to life and or country (terrorism)....Otherwise its not their job to dictate how customers should behave on the interwebs.

Well, since you pay money to your provider, I think that they realy don't care what you do on the internet unless you broke the rules in your country.

Sounds like more kiddie queries...

My advise would be to grow up, get a life, and move on.

Hope that helps.

You were banned for trolling.

The idiot in this post was actually banned from our forums because he kept abusing our staff's time by breaking the rules, then engaging in lengthy PM conversations (just for the heck of it). This didn't happen once or twice, no, it happened more than ten times.

We pride ourselves about being pretty lenient to non-serious infractions. We don't even give out warnings generally, but this dude's got some serious mental issues (as per our resident psychiatrist (I just made that up, the psychiatrist bit)).

So now he's here posting through the use of a VPN, trying to annoy us. Which answers the question: sure we could contact his last known ISP and make some false accusations, but any decent ISP would check those first and then disregard our claims.

Someone asked about "finding out": if you look hard enough there's always a way to infere the truth, but proving it might be difficult.

Shought what do you mean by actually?

Um you could say I was trolling, since I broke the rules with the only intention to troll you. So you banned me for trolling, make sense?
