Samurai
Just thought I'd post this little beauty I found...UserBars.comYou'll find a collection of hundreds of User-Bars here. All of them are shown with a code for your favorite forum. You may copy that code to your forums signatur with only one click. User-Bars: User-Bars are small grafics for your forum signature, which help you to show a tiny bit of your personality in an attractive way. Example: Let's say you love drinking a coke while playing your favorite game "Counterstrike", you often crawl the web via Google's searchengine and you are proud of your grafic-card. In this case you can express all that in your forum signature by inserting our following User-Bars: Loads more info on their site, so if you're looking for a change in your sig to either brighten it up or create a new one, it's all there :lol:Please remember to adhere to the forum rules regarding the limitations on sigs, i.e pixel dimensions and file sizes. I'm thinking of increasing the limit slightly due to size constraints not really becoming an issue. Most, if not all of us on here have some form of decent connection. Only problem I see with this is the dimensions, but I'll look into whether or not this will affect most users or less than 1% ;)Anyway, enjoy if you do intend to use them ;)Samurai

Samurai
Apparently I missed that part. Sorry about that.I am trying to increase this, but not at a cost to current members. If we have a large percentage of members using 800 x 600 then I can't really do anything, but from the looks of it (from the poll) we haven't got any (that have voted anyway). If this is the case, a slight increase shouldn't do too much harm, but we're not going to be seeing anything like you posted earlier :(
LonePirate
Anyone know where I can find some nice userbars for this site?I like the Holiday banner but would like a nice looking userbar also
HX1
If you go to this post.. there are userbars there.. ( one example is like the one I have in my sig - With gradient and border + drop shadow - others without ) Viewing the slideshow will give you a full preview how each one looks.. and in what colors.. or you can view the folder through the slideshow options and get the URL Link for the image to post in your sig.. anyway.. in case you missed it.. There are also some on the nsanedown.com page, if you look for 'Share' on the left side... and it ill take you to the competition results and even more member submitted nsane media.. some good ones there.. HX1
Sorry.. I forgot to post up the link.. This is the post...nsanedownWP2011.. This is the Slideshow...here.. and this is the page where you can grab the links better.. ( clicking on 'Back to Main View' from the slideshow.. - changed that a few times ) Main View.. I had the links in hand and forgot to post them... my fault. There are also PSD files available for these if you want to customize them how you want.. or even switch from nsanedown to nsaneforums on the banner...available through mediafire on the same main post page. ( 'Download' - if you want something like that but different or even with your own touch ). GIMP or Photoshop will handle it. for all of them. grouchysmurf
There are MANY ways to make them, you can usea couple of easy programs such as Bytessence UserbarGenerator http://www.bytessence.com/bug.htmlor this one Userbar Generator http://download.cnet..._4-10562945.htmThey are easy to use and figure out...small programs. Now, if you want to get more in depth, then programs such as GIMP orAdobe or even Corel can provide a very wide range of design capabilitiesbut of course they do take time and practice. Sometimes, depending on what I want,I will use both a bar generator and gimp. I create the bar with the small generator, thenI edit with the larger graphic program like GIMP.Remember, as I said previously, cut and paste are my friends. As an example, look at the forum tag that HX1 designed and then lookat the blue userbar that flashes up. It should become clear as to where I got thelettering "nsane.down" from. (Thanx again HX1)
