SacredCultivator
Hey Readers,Just wondering... is there a program that can wipe/delete a file that just doens't want to be deleted?because... I uploaded a document to Sendspace, and my friend said it was giving him problems.. So I dl'ed the file from the uploaded link...Now the weird part is... It DOWNLOADED 2 files (1 is the doc. and the other is the same name BUT it is 0bytes (Type is just 'File')... when I try to delete it... I get:"Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk"I can delete the doc file which is 33kbI've tried going to Safe Mode and deleting it and I get the same message =/Tried TuneUp Utilities shredder but it only removed the 33kb file and not the 0byte one..-=--EDIT:I always rush to conclusions and post... I just found out what the program 'Unlocker' does... and it worked =PCan delete thsi thread if needed ><Sorry.

Jota.Ce
If Unlocker can't delete a file, then it'll propose you to delete it before next boot (useful for some malware). The question is: can File Assassin improve it ? And if so, can it be separated from its main program?

And if so, can it be separated from its main program?FileASSASSIN is an application that can delete any type of locked files that are on your computer. Whether the files are from a malware infection or just a particular file that will not delete - FileASSASSIN can remove it. The program uses advanced programming techniques to unload modules, close remote handles, and terminate processes to remove the particular locked file. Please use with caution as deleting critical system files may cause system errors.
