I'm on definition # 4539 with NodLogin 10 C (10 B may not work for everyone.)'Premium' users get priority when the server is having high load, trial users will only be able to get the updates after a lot of tries or whenever the servers recover.Mucho Goodo I'm Premium stuff, viva la NodLogin!!!!Thank you UliesSoft, your NodLogin makes me feel like an Emperor. BugLord Posted October 25, 2009 Share Posted October 25, 2009 i just did a clean install of my pc, installed smart security 4.0.467 + mara-fix 1.3 and ever since when i try to update it says that the database is current. haven't had a successful update yet, and am stuck at 4436 =/edit: used http://jeanvaljean.org/eset-offline-update and am now at def 4536. still says it's up to date though. dimkrom Posted October 25, 2009 Share Posted October 25, 2009 i think the trial system of eset programs changedi download and install the latest smart security and i give my email so they send me a trial key, i install the program with the trial key they send me and after install i click update and immidiately i get an update after the update i go to see the licence and it says that it is valid until 26/11/2009 not trial word no nothing.that's why i believe that they change the trial system, they just give you a key which works as original key but for one month.after that i install the mara-fix and try to update again with empty username and password, and nothing, it doesn't download anything 0Kb. So in a way we are usin the trial version. So why not update it?(on the frontpage) I know there are not much changes in the new version, but what if this new version has a fix for the update problem we are havin? shought Posted October 25, 2009 Author Share Posted October 25, 2009 What's going on now is exactly the same as the things that were going on in the past, it will fix itself.There were some changes in the trial mechanism, but it would be crazy for them to not give updates to all the people using the 4.0.467 version, you see, so it's got nothing to do with the updates.
