Use Magical Jelly Bean for University serials?

I just had this crazy idea that I could use Magical Jelly Bean keyfinder to get serials from University apps! I know that it has Microsoft Office 2007, Windows XP SP3! and lots of other apps!

But if I use the Jelly Bean thingy I don't want to get caught obviously! Is it safe to do it? or will I set off some kind of alarm? lol :w00t:

Not to worry I do that all the time. Schools and libraries don't put much effort into looking for security breaches. They probably don't even know how to do it. You may not be able to see all the keys without admin privileges though but it's worth a shot.

Sometimes you even find that marvelous XP Administrator account unsecured...

In XP's blue account selection screen Ctrl+Alt+Del 2 times, enter as Administrator without password.

So lame leaving this hole on a system.

If needed I wait till there are no witnesses then I use this linux password reset bootdisk to blank the admin password. It works great and only takes a few minutes since most of the default values are already there and you just need to press "enter" a few times.

  • 4 months later...

I used SoftKey Revealer to get me a Office 2007 Enterprise Key. It needed no admin privelidges and didn't get caught by AV like JellyBean and Produkey did.
