jalaffa
When you browse the Web, changes occur to your computer system. Some of these might be harmful, like the unsolicited installation of malware. When you use Sandboxie to protect your browsing session, it catches all these changes just as the browser is about to apply them into your computer system. Sandboxie does record these changes on behalf of the browser, but it records them in a special isolated folder, called the sandbox. Thus, with Sandboxie, you can browse the Web securely while still keeping all your browser's functionality for active and dynamic content, such as javascript and ActiveX. All undesired side effects can be easily undone.Download

BEngEE
Thanks for the update.I tried installing this on a fresh w8.1x64 using the test mode driver signing etc. However, on reboot, service cannot be loaded. Further, I read that the only way to load the service is by placing win into test mode on each bootup, ofc I would rather avoid that. Has anyone installed on 8.1 x64 with success lately? If yes, what steps did you take as I am stumped ?tia

BEngEE
Thanks. What method do you use to permanently run w8.1 in test mode ?Swipe in from the right, click or tap Search, and then type cmd. Alternatively, type cmd on the Start screen. Tap-and-hold or right-click Command Prompt in the search results. Select Run as administrator on the menu that appears at the bottom of the screen.Note If you are prompted by a User Account Control window, tap or click Yes. In the Command Prompt window, type the following command, and then press Enter: bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON After you see the confirmation, close the Command Prompt window. Save any unsaved work, and then restart the computer.
