hamede
AV-Comparatives.org (The best anti-virus for 2013) Kaspersky Internet Security =================================== At the beginning of each year, AV-Comparatives compare the leading anti-virus software, published a summary report for antivirus / security suites tested products throughout the year. This report examines all benchmarks during the year just ended and named the "best anti-virus." This year, like last year, there are several anti-virus showed a very high level in all tests. Although like all competicias there is only one winner. The annual awards are based on tests of protection in the real world, Impact Detection System Files and False positive (all compulsory). Optional tests where some suppliers refused to submit and obviously have had fewer opportunities to score points: Proactive Test, Removing Malware and Anti-Phishing.To receive the "best anti-virus" award experts institute based in Innsbruck Austria, used the results shown throughout the year. For the results of all testing points are assigned as follows: 0 = Tested-Standard = 5-Advanced and Advanced + = 10 = 15 points. The following table shows an overview of the levels for the 22 anti-virus and security suites tested shown throughout the year 2013 and AV-Comparatives obtained or (no), the AV-Comparatives awards throughout the year. As the table shows, Kaspersky Internet Security received the "best anti-virus 2013" award. Bitdefender Romanians lost the battle only by one point! But they were in second place. A total of seven products, including anti-virus software free, I talked about Avast free antivirus, received nominations for "Best qualified". The full report contains reviews of 22 security products anti-virus/internet security. Designation also highlights the best performing products in each of the tests performed.Kaspersky Lab received three stars in the nine tests conducted by AV-Comparatives, Bitdefender Internet Security received three stars in eight of the nine tests, from March to June. ESET Smart Security, seven stars of nine tests. Kaspersky Lab is achieved a full range of star 27 of a possible 27 and won everything that have been winning.Top-rated products, after Kaspersky Lab, are (in alphabetical order) Avast, Avira, BitDefender, BullGuard, ESET, Fortinet and F-Secure.The following softwares won the advanced + prize test "real world" during the year 2013: Kaspersky Lab (99.9%, few FPS), Emsisoft (99.2%, few fps) Avast and ESET (98.9%, few Fps) has received the Advanced + award in both 2013 tests. This test tests the products under real world conditions. Products must provide a high level of protection without causing too many false alarms, and without requiring the user to make many decisions.No. 1. Kaspersky Lab, Gold MedalNo. 2. Emsisoft, silver medal.No. 3. Avast and ESET bronze medal.Winners of testing file:This screening evaluates the motor component analysis static files, which is a subset of the features of protection provided by security products. A high rate of detection of malware - without causing too many false alarms - depending on the situation, one of the most important, deterministic and predictable characteristics of an anti-virus product (for example, not depending largely on infection vectors or other factors). The following products received the Advanced + award in both general testing file in March and September 2013. The figure shown is the average of the two test results: F-Secure (99.6%, few FPS), Bitdefender, Qihoo (99.4%, very few FPS) and Kaspersky Lab BullGuard (99.3 %, few FPS).No. 1. F-Secure, GoldNo. 2. Bitdefender and Qihoo, SilverNo. 3. Bullguard Kaspersky, BronzeWinners test false positives:False positives can cause so much trouble as a real infection. Because of this, it is important that anti-virus is tested to strict quality control before release to the public, in order to avoid false positives. Products with the lowest false positive rates in 2013 were: Fortinet ( 8), ESET (10) and Kaspersky Lab (11). These figures represent the sum of the false positives of the two tests.No. 1. Fortinet GoldNo. 2. ESET, SilverNo. 3. Kaspersky, BronzeThe overall results; winners (impact test the software on system performance):Security products must remain on at all times, while users are doing their usual computing tasks. Some products may have more than others in system performance and in the performance of certain tasks impact. Sophos, Avast, F-Secure, Kaspersky Lab and BitDefender have shown little impact on system performance than the other products.No. 1. Sophos, GoldNo. 2. Avast, F-Secure and Kaspersky, SilverNo. 3. Bitdefender, BronzeWinners of testing (heuristic protection):In this test, the rate of detection / protection should be achieved with a low rate of false alarms. The following products showed the highest rates of proactive protection test in 2013: Bitdefender (97%, few FPS), Kaspersky Lab (94%, few FPS) and BullGuard (89%, few FPS).No. 1. Bitdefender, GoldNo. 2. Kaspersky, SilverNo. 3. Bullguard, BronzeWinners of the test malware removal:A useful skill for an anti-virus software is removing malware that has infected one system. In the test last year, seven products received the Advanced + award, best of which is Kaspersky Lab, Bitdefender and Avira.No. 1. Kaspersky, GoldNo. 2. Bitdefender, SilverNo. 3. Avira, BronzeThe winners Protection (Anti-Phishing):Today there are many phishing websites that try to steal money from their victims without making any changes to the PC or device used to access them. A security product that warns of known / suspected phishing sites can protect you against fraud. Products with the highest rate of blocking phishing websites were: ESET and Kaspersky Lab (99%), Bitdefender, Trend Micro and McAfee (98%) Fortinet (97%).No. 1. ESET and Kaspersky, GoldNo. 2. Bitdefender, McAfee and Trend Micro, SilverNo. 2. Fortinet, BronzeUsing data from AV-Comparatives.org. http://www.av-comparatives.org/summary-reports/Like fine wine, the market leaders in terms of antivirus and Internet security are not necessarily those ending in the head of the list. Perhaps some readers will be surprised by some test results and some classifications. You guys do you think? Are ye pleased with the results for the year just ended? Some of you know that last year won the Romanian Cundo Bitdefender gave away licenses for everyone! See if Kaspersky Russians give away something ....! Edited January 19, 2014 by hamede

Blackchildcx
I also do not ALWAYS agree with the testin standarts..If you look deeper you will see that its not that close to reality..But of course we need standarts like everywhere and then I choose AV-Comparatives.org also with some other test labs..But for me is doing a own test on own system(virtual) with samples links and zero days always the better way.so you can test the AV u use..and can check system protection settings (maybe KIS...Zemana... )But I agree with the results..Kaspersky is realy advanced..and Bitdefender is not a bit weaker..so if u picked N#1 or N# 2 N#3.or even N#4... ...Thats a rock solid protection..have a nice sunday all over the globesince going with bitdefender I would not change my security settings... B)mmmhhmmmm.....ok.I would take a free KIS 2014 .. ;) To see if Im happy with it..All the KIS users here cant be wrong..
