Administrator Lite Posted November 10, 2005 Administrator Share Posted November 10, 2005 CPUIdle is prolly the most effective.I don't like the idea of CPU Eat and Cool. (My opinion... lots of others like it).
undeleted_xp
how come when i installed CPUIdle it kicks up to 100% CPU usage? where as System Idle Process is normal? Theres 3 options there that is unfamiliar to me OS controlled Cooling (use windows), S1 State (standard), and C2 State (advance). which one should I pick? Administrator Lite Posted November 10, 2005 Administrator Share Posted November 10, 2005 CPU IDLE techniquely REPLACES the system idle process. The system idle process is a method of "cooling" the processer via software, but it isn't always effective...C2 should give the best cooling....
