1- Welcome to nsane

2- You downloaded the driver from ASUS official website or another one?

3- The Screenshot is for the driver file before installing or after being installed?

Welcome to Nsane - we're all here, because we're not all there :)

#1 - Go to Asus website look for a support / forums and search your question there.

THAT is a better place to search for a solution.

#2 Usually motherboards come with a CD that has all the drivers and applications, do you have that?

#3 Try system restore? Go back a few days or to the last save point?

#4 Asus website should have ALL the driver packages for EVERYTHING on that board.

#5 Try Realtek.com, thats a long-shot though, I would not expect to find it there...

( I only suggest that, because I see the the word Realtek in that screenshot)

I'm not going to google it for you, thats YOUR job.

Half the fun of owning a computer is tracking all this stuff down...I do it myself as well :)

( you googled the image, thats a good way to find the drivers, or discussions talking about it, believe it or not, clicking on any of those images gives you an option to go to the website it is on, and investigate further...)

...and even though your spelling/grammar is attrocious, we are forgiving in that area, since this community is international,

and english is not the native language of most members here, even though you show a Canada flag on your avatar.

I wish you luck in your quest! :showoff:

Ok! AFAIK only Asus notebooks supports Wave MaxxAudio! Are you sure MaxxAudio Works with your MoBo? I couldn't find any details about M5A97 R2.0 supporting MaxxAudio!

Check The MoBo Specifications : http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A97_R20/#specifications

IT4ncZs.png

Check Asus Support Thread, it's also about Notebooks :P : http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?34135-Waves-MaxxAudio-gone-solved

Going forward care to elaborate the exact details about the issue! ;)

yes im shure because when i first booted up my pc it was on it and i used it for months and months before my pc started to slow down (from over a TB of crap) and i wanted to reset it so it would be faster and after i did that *poof* it was gone and i have not been able to get it since it in the driver for my mother board on the asus site and when i install them it even says for a split second installing MaxxAudio something something, then it finishes and i restart my pc and its not there ive spent the last 8 hours trying to get this without this it sound like im using ear buds when i have a gaming headset and i play a lot of competive fps games and sound is a big part of it and my sounds so off i caint play right( sounds pathetic but if your a gamer you will understand) all the files are in the folder ( http://gyazo.com/edb2f13626c8c9dae6d7f7e4f53f718f ) but for some reason its like they do not installl and when i click the 'Maxx Audio Controller" it just comes up blank compared to when i use to click it( when it worked) it would be like this ( http://www.google.ca/imgres?safe=off&sa=X&biw=1360&bih=666&tbm=isch&tbnid=4zdbtvVeVvwaIM:&imgrefurl=http://www.laptopmag.com/reviews/laptops/asus-x550ca.aspx&docid=I5knIkq-QvYN8M&imgurl=http://www.laptopmag.com/images/uploads/3825/g/ASUS-X550CA-Waves-MaxxAudio.jpg&w=775&h=500&ei=F_K_UsYy0rLKAdiBgeAL&zoom=1&ved=1t:3588%2cr:10%2cs:0%2ci:109&iact=rc&page=1&tbnh=179&tbnw=278&start=0&ndsp=15&tx=223&ty=42 ) idk if i went into enough detail let me know if you need more also sorry if im coming off as rude to any one just get angry because one day its there next its not/ all of a suden dose not work D:

I know Wave MaxxAudio Drivers are integrated with RealTek Audio Drivers setup thats why I have pointed you towards the Asus drivers Download page in my first post. As far as you are concerned about Playing Games you can use Razer Game Booster & Razer Surround (works with Headphones) to experience/hear the crisp Game effects!

I think it's not wise to bump your head in this thread anymore unless someone comes up with a fix! Take my words, It would be better if you head to Asus Support forum and Raise a Ticket for your issue! :s
