Try to do the extraction selecting the 001 file....

If this don't work, you could try joining all the files with hjsplit...

This is the way i do things here when i have such files...

Hope this could help you...

Regards!

right click on the .001 file, Properties, on the General Tab click Change, change it to Winrar, Save. Next double click the .001 file and it should open up in Winrar. Simply tell it to extract to wherever you want.

I installed 7Zip and it gave me a file with no extension :

open the "te.nfo" file with notepad or wordpad to find any instructions...

That didn`t help me much , I still couldn`t unpack the files :

Try out HJSplit

our you can use MasterSplitter. The files in question probably originated on Usenet. These types of files are very common there. g/l have fun

Edit: I see you solved it....in the future use one of the above programs to circumvent renaming many files.

7zip doesn't support rar5 yet

use winrar 5.01

That`s what I used (see post #1) , but I couldn`t extract the setup file , maybe I did something wrong .

What? Are you really all kidding here, that someone does not know how to open these files? Or it's simply good joke?
If You really don't know, I'll tell.
But do not do anything stupid, like somebody spoke before - something to join or split or etc. This is joke.

unknownasphyxiated

run winrar as admin > option > setting > integration > user defined archieve extension > add 001 > Ok

check back 001 file..it should be detected as winrar file

or open winrar > go to folder > right click 001 file > extract

Yeah, simply one mouse right button click to one of the files (no matter which of them - it is important only that they would all be in same folder).
All will be opened and connected automatically.

How old is this guy anyway? This is a simple deal here,

For you perhaps but not for him. So that's why this forum exist, to ask what we don't know and everybody's free to answer or no...

:wtf: Just open the file with WinRAR and unpack it. TE uses RAR5, no other archiver supports it yet. No extension -> RAR5.

1. Mark all zip files -> WinRAR -> Unpack files.. -> Just hit OK -> Replace files? -> All

2. Open the new folder, highlight the first part .001 -> Open with -> WinRAR

3. Drag&Drop the content out into the new folder, if you unpack the 7-zip split archive, you get the file without extension and you don't wanna do that
