Can anybody help me how to reset administrator password in desktop pc 32bit running on xp,without formatting the PC

If you have another admin account for the same XP you can change it easily, if You have only one admin account and a guest account then you have to do it using a bootable software like the one above, if it didn't worked for you then feedback to suggest another one, good luck

Most of the times using those tools you can seriously brick the security on your system ...

OPH uses 2 ways to bypass SAM profiles, one by elevating privileges to account (using the same SAM profile) and the second most dangerous, creating a new SAM profile for admin account.

If you want to use the admin account with a new password, OPH has to create a new SAM profile, by doing so, the security is seriously compromised.
Because is XP, after a BSOD, XP can boot a older SAM profile and you will be stuck again ...

When i used to work IT at a local shop, OPH was the last way. The easy way was booting live linux, backup all data, than format it. The same goes to BIOS hacking, hack it than flush a new bios.

Unless the default administrator account has been changed, all you have to do is type "Administrator" or "administrator" as the user name and the password will be either blank or "password". Then press "OK" and you should be in.

If nothing so far has worked, but there is a non-passworded guest account, you may have hope yet.
Go into the guest account, click the start menu, click run, and then type in "cmd". A black window should pop up.
Then, after typing "net user administrator *" , press enter and you will be given directions to create a new password for the administrator. After typing in the new password, press enter and close the window. Log off, then get into the administrator account with the new password.

Regs,

The error you get means you have no admin rights

Check this: http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/7043228/Windows_Login_Password_Resetter_Boot_Disk

Or generally this:http://thepiratebay.se/search/Windows%20Password/0/7/0

Follow instructions carefully and it gonna work fine
