Was the ISO mounted at the time when you was doing the defrag ?, (thus being used by the system, whilst being accessed by the defrag software).

I doubt it's the defrag thats caused the corrupt iso, as defrags do a write / read verify to ensure the file is complete, plus defrags check the sectors to ensure there are no issues before writing data. I'd look at running chkdsk / scandisk for errors on your HD, possibly even check Smartdisk.

Other than re-downloading the 2nd ISO I doubt you have much chance of repairing it, as ISO's do not come with recovery records. If you have the rar files though, you could try extracting again and just download the affected rar file down again.

Maybe your antivirus delets the crack.

Look at the quarantine to restore it.

Seriously, did you even read OP's post at ALL ?

defragging a hard disk or sd card can corrupt the whole hdd/sdcard

make sure after defragging the drive make a check disk and fix bad sector of it.. every drive you defrag you must check it for error..

i don't advised to defrag any local storage like hdd.. defrag is a worst thing you can do

if you have budget then go and add SSD drive and put the os in their.. no need to defrag 10x faster than hdd

Many say TuneUp is facebooksmileypoop0015ufkk.png, i also think it really is. :(

what is the meaning I can't understand

he said tune up is shit - ( i think so too)

Defragmenting a hard drive is good housekeeping- absolutely nothing wrong with doing that at all, i have HDD full of every file type you can think of, iso, mp3, avi, exe its alll there NEVER NOT ONE TIME did i encounter corruption due to defragging.

I used to use diskeeper on XP ( in fact the default defragger that comes with XP is made by diskeeper)

nowadays i use Auslogics Defrag Profesional ( for Win 7 and for XP ) works like a charm not 1 hassle ever .

If you want to Defrag files never use multiple Utilities but software only for Defrag such as PerfectDisk or Diskeeper thats all you need...

TuneUp was relatively decent long time ago, now it is just bloated with features most people won't use or shouldn't use, Program Deactivator as example.

I also would suggest tools that really focus on main stuff, not suites or Bloatware, Auslogics is fine, Defraggler too, the Frontpage has so many awesome programs, i sometimes can't believe that people choose those holy AIOs.

I think chkdsk (Checking Disk for errors) can repair your ISO, Apply it on the partition where the ISO is stored :)

if you have vista or windows 7

and youre system restore is enabled

right click on the file and choose earlier versions.

choose the right one (before the defrag and copy this file to another location)

hope it helps.
