Try Boilsoft Video Joiner 7 for the merging part. For DVD conversion of the video files I recomend VSO ConvertX to DVD 5.

Can anyone suggest some working software that do the job of combining all video type. Boilsoft, Xvideo all failed and don't join the video. Boilsoft keep crashing, and doesn't work. Xvideo don't read file types.

All Joiners have limitations in input and output, so you need to be more specific about filetypes.

There are bunch of formats out there and even more codecs, you won't find any that handles all.

Convert X to DVD http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/

is the best tool for this job,

(( he did not ask for joining or editing, just combining ( lets say, a folder of several videos) and burning to dvd. ))

I have used this software for years to burn you tube videos and movies to dvd, and share with friends
