mastermindsos
Hello,I have a problem in my just installed Windows 8.1I wanted to mount an ISO file using the windows mount. 1) But it says error. But the image file is mounted correctly.2) Sometimes I couldn't eject the drive, because there is no option to eject when I right clicked on the drive. I have to go to Disk Management and eject the drive from there.3) Also, sometimes I cannot mount the ISO file.I confirmed that the ISO files are not corrupted. They are working ISO files.I remember the last time when I used Windows 8, it doesn't have such problem. Thank you.

mastermindsos
recommend Daemon Tool Lite (Free) or Pro AdvancedThank you. Personally I like PowerIso.It just that, Windows has integrated application, and I wish to use integrated application rather than using an external application.Anyway, do you know how to fix this issue? Or is this a bug, probably will be fixed sometime in the future?

I can assure all drivers are latest, downloaded from manufacturer(Gigabyte).Bios also updated to the latest version. Bios setting enabled to support Windows 8.Are you using Windows 8.1? Do you not have the problem? When I disabled UAC, it seems to fix it and also other problem too,eg: I cannot extract rar files or create rar file, until I disabled UAC.Thank you. mastermindsos
I probably found the problem. This time, I found out that I am actually able to mount iso when UAC is on.It seems that, when the file name is long, windows couldn't mount/eject successfully. It is the trigger causing other iso file mounted with error.Eg: I have 2 iso files with the name "DVD5_Office_Select_Edition_2013_W32_RuEn_MLF-KROKOZ.iso"and"DVD9_Office_Select_Edition_2013_64Bit_RuEn_MLF-KROKOZ.iso"I tried to mount both iso files, error comes out for both file. But when I shorten the file name to "DVD5_Office_Select_Edition_2013_W32.iso", it is mounted successfully.
