Nastrahl
Surprisingly bad results for AVG.Not that bad I would say : the user dependent settings can do the trick, it's probably a better setting up of AVG protection settings.
uffbros
Why are you surprised at AVG? That has always been garbage. It is considered a virus in the tech world!!!!

locoJoe
It looks to me that about 92% of malware is blocked "out of the box" by Windows. I can get by the other 8% with Sandboxie, an on demand scan/virus total and just a little common sense. If my system does get compromised it just takes a few minutes to restore it with AX64 backup stored on external drive and a boot CD. I just dont see the need. g/l have fun. Airstream_Bill
and missing from this is symantec..or did i just miss it\???I think that I read that Symantec does not agree with the way they test so they do not get tested.
