rudrax
Hey folks, I was trying to format an old desktop via bootable USB flash drive. But the drive isn't getting detected in the BIOS. The drive is detected when I boot to the desktop using the internal HDD but if I restart the PC and go to the BIOS, there is no sign of the flash drive. The BIOS is Phoenix award BIOS v2.3. Tharixxx
Many laptops and older desktop systems shipped with the USB setting in the BIOS disabled. This causes the USB port not to be recognized within Windows® How Do I Enable The USB Port In BIOSBecause computer manufacturers have individualized and varying configurations within their systems, the best source for information regarding your USB controllers setting is the computer owner's manual. The USB port setting can be located in either the Advanced Settings section, Peripherals, Communication, or Input/Output sections.Locate the USB controllers setting in your computer Setup (BIOS) and change the status to Enabled. Save the changes and restart your computer for the changes to take effect B) B) B) I hope this will be helpful for you B) B) B)

MSI recommends their 'Live Udate 5' update system components. I tried it but no BIOS related update is available there. And the DVD writer is dead.
