tezza
Your settings and apps in the modern interface are automatically backed up if you use a Microsoft account. That means, if you install apps while in a Microsoft Account, it is already saved to your account. In case of a restore, you just have to reinstall the apps by going to the "Your apps" section in Windows store.or a small prog calledWindows 8 Apps Data Backup or If you want you can manually backup them from these locationsAppdata C:\ProgramFiles\WindowsAPPSUserdata C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\PackagesThis folder can be copied. To restore the app settings, just reinstall the apps and then replace the existing folder with your backup.

All are backuped there.Even when doing a full disk cleaning (not only wipe partition, but wipe disk) and then will install Windows again (clean install), they're all there with the settings, which you had before.Open Start window, click on Store, then go top and mouse right button click and You'll see "Home" "Your apps" "Your account".
