Airstream_Bill
I have used it and it is very good. The Migration tool works GREAT! It moves all your links not just some of them Like FF.
Paft
Can you list the reasons why you use it and your system specs? There's also Cyberfox and Waterfox. Why did you chose Palemoon?
Olexijl
Hello,My system specs:Win7 x64Phenom X4 955 ProcessorSamsung SSD8GB RAMRadeon HD 5770 Series Graphics (working superb with current Catalyst)Since i really do not like Australis, yeah, i had a choice: Cyberfox, Waterfox, IceDragon (which is Firefox based) and Pale Moon.Cyberfox did not really good work with my Firefox profile and installing language pack did not translate everything. Too much modified!Waterfox had problems with my extensions.IceDragon is completely different browser and has complicated GUI.Pale Moon was kept as close to the original state as possible. It offers x86 and x64 versions to download (unlike any others, only x64), it offers portable usage for testing and clean profile at first. Using clean profile has advantages: you can see if all is working. You can migrate your profile using Migration Tool. You can switch the language pack and it translates everything. And you can install special extension for configuration under the hood.Read the Pale Moon's website!PS: too bad, i was a fan of Firefox since Firefox 1.0 over the years, but i switched now and i am really satisfied. anakin206
Pale Moon is the nearest option to Firefox to me. It accepts all the plug-in that I have on Firefox. I use the x64 portable version.
Paft
@OlexijlYeah, I read their webby of course. I have tried Waterfox and Cyberfox almost a year ago but didn't notice much difference in performance. I can't even remember if I have tried Palemoon, however I am familiar with it.I might try all 3 and posts some test results on Sunday.I haven't even bothered to test out Australis yet either. Thanks for the response. Administrator DKT27 Posted December 6, 2013 Administrator Share Posted December 6, 2013 Thanks for the suggestion.Pale Moon has always been on our list of softwares short-listed for frontpaging. The reason it wasn't frontpaged was because of the change in it's release model.Having said, due to the reasons mentioned above, we will reconsider it. :)
