spudboy
Yeah, I always wonder why the eset people stick with it. It's been on a decline for quite a long time.

Nautilus
Trend Micro better performance than Eset...not on my windows 7 x64 rig. Not even close.Eset is the King of performances.Kaspersky is great regarding detection.Bitdefender is good too but but there is no chance they both perform better than Eset regarding performances. That's just not true.Sh*te test. Nautilus
So, the dilemma isProtection vs. Performance... :think:Nah...most of the best AVs are so close in protection.Regular users won't even notice the % difference between them.Use what's working best on your PC. spudboy
Eset is not the king of performance. I don't know why people keep saying that becasue it's a left over statement from pre v3Nice Post .... I Would like to Try this Kaspersky 2014 .... They completely dumbed it down and removed all advance options. You can get a 1 year licence for the 2013 version using the ASUS Mod found in the forum. janedoe
Eset is not the king of performance. I don't know why people keep saying that becasue it's a left over statement from pre v3I don't know about ESS, but I'm using EAV with a free 1-year license (thanks to this awesome forum!) on multiple PCs, and even on the older systems I experience no appreciable slowdowns.
