emerglines
What Windows you then actually have? Then you have those files somewhere else. Find Them Up. But if You have a Windows 8.1, They Must Be There.Bro these are integrated into windows 8 which gives you the possibility to open images and manage files, if these are deleted he will get in deep problems especially deleting Filemanager.exe
SlimRock
@Roger D! you can't remove photos or skydrive app in 8.1 no matter what method you use or the operating system will break! it is so closely integrated and each depends on the other, even if you manage to remove it from the iso, you'll have a F#$ked up OS. So its better either to Turn off the live Tiles OR unpin both of them from the Start Screen. The only thing you can try to remove SkyDrive from the File Explorer's sidebar is to follow these instructions: Press Win+R and type regedit to open up the Registry EditorNavigate to the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\ {8E74D236-7F35-4720-B138-1FED0B85EA75}\ShellFolder registry key.Right-click on ShellFolder and head to Permissions. Click Advanced.Under "Owner" near the top, click Change. Change the owner to your user and press OK. Check the "Replace owner on subcontainers and objects" box as well as the "Replace all child object permissions with inheritable permissions from this subject" box near the bottom. Press OK.Back in the original Permissions box, click on your user if it exists (otherwise, click Add and add your user). Check the "Full Control" box under your user and press OK.Now, back in the Registry editor, you should have permission to edit this registry key. Double-click the Attributes key in ShellFolderand set its value to 0.Restart your computer. When you open File Explorer, the SkyDrive entry should be gone from the list. SlimRock
To Solve the TWinUI glitch ("TWINUI" refers to a metro app that you have from the Windows Store or it could lead to the Windows store itself) try this: you can use ShellExView to check third party shell. Download ShellExView from the following link http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.zip Right-click the "shexview.zip" file, select "Extract All", the Extraction Wizard will prompt. Click Next, input "C:\ShellExView" (without the quotation marks) in the "Files will be extracted to this directory" textbox. Click Next and click Finish. Open the "C:\ShellExView" folder and double-click the "shexview.exe" file. It will scan the registry for all the shell extensions. Select all the non-Microsoft extensions in pink by press "Ctrl" in the keyboard. Click the "Disable Selected Items" on the toolbar and click Yes. Restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved. If everything fails!

SlimRock
in metro start menu right click that app u will see uninstall option :) Have you really checked this on your system. On Windows 8.1, right clicking on Photo apps you will get Unpin from start, turn live tiles off & resize options. There is no option like uninstall, go Check it yourself!
