Recommended Posts

Guys I want to uninstall completely Skydrive and photo apps from windows 8.1, These Apps are inbuilt in Windows 8.1 and I could not find any uninstall option in Start screen and In Apps list..

I tried to remove it using Windows 8 Manager --> Windows Store App uninstaller,

But it prompted error in uninstallation ,then i tried deleting, now probably it has removed but in Open with context menu it still shows with the name TWINUI..

Guys help to remove this completely..

Just search under HKEY_CURRENT_USER \Software \Microsoft \Windows \CurrentVersion \ Explorer \FileExts\

Search for ".PDF" i guess, under "OpenWithList" you will find it with the same name TWINUI delete it.

This solution is just a try by me i don't know how Windows 8 works .

FileExts is where most of apps that appear under the "Open With" option, so if you delete the TwinUi in another place your OS may not boot cause TwinUI is related to all apps and its related to all the OS theme system, be sure to search only under FileExts if you don't find nothing under that you will use this tool

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/regscanner.html

Search for TwinUI and give me the result to see where we will delete that key.

Note: Where you finish the search just right click over the result and export them by clicking "HTML Report - All Items"
