Hi.

I'm having problem with explorer.exe. My mouse starts lagging and then error comes up (windows explorer has stopped working blah blah and then i need to click restart process, it's really hard to click it , because mouse is lagging like crazy) It happens randomly . Not always , but every 1-2 hours.

No viruses , i scanned with hitman pro and malwarebytes , i'm cleaning my computer with ccleaner and diskeeper.

All windows updates are installed , drivers up to date , i'm running windows 7. I really don't know what's wrong .

I also tried sfc /scannow , didn't find anything :(

Also one strange thing. When i install iobit system care and deep clean my computer with it , explorer.exe is working fine , no errors . But i don't want that junk in my computer .

Any help is appreciated .

I suggest a memory scan. It's possible that there's a faulty module and that's the result.

It can be one of the memory slots, so remove the modules and clean the connectors whith a pencil ereaser. Then change the slots of the modules.

Use a memory tester like memtest86 or memtest86+

if it's possible try using UBCD

good luck

I ran memtest , no errors .

I don't think it's memory problem , i think it's software related.

Have you looked in task manager to see if anythings using all your RAM? Sounds like it's possible.

Not a fix but Restart Explorer may be usefull. Adds it to your right click menu to use from the desktop. I find it very usefull.

No , i don't see anything strange in task manager , everything seems ok. Normal ram usage.

Thanks , that right click menu thing is useful.

Do you have a nvidia card? are you updated to the last nvidia driver? check the nvidia drivers board about similar problems with lastest nvidia driver, specially in 500-600 series. sorry my bad english. I had to revert to 314.22 driver and the problems finished.
