janedoe
MediaMonkey is the bestMM is actually quite nice, but I have been waiting for months for their promised Windows 8.1 compatible update. On RT 8.1 the video UI is completely broken unfortunately, and there are lots of other bugs too. Wish they would hurry up!
galaxyquestor
let it die! keep your hands busy on windows 9 ! - don't want no other junk like winamp bundled with it!Winamp? Junk? You've got a screw loose, somewhere. I hope these programmers can do more than walk and chew gum at the same time. Winamp has always given the option to install a streamlined version with no bloat, has some of the best skins and input-output plugins of any media player (even after all these years of being a free player/encoder/processor/and plugin host - and windows 9? Who gives a flip -and who know what it'll turn out to be. I have VLC, JRiver MC, Windows MPC HC 64-bit, several other players, including Creative's old but still decent native player - and Winamp. The only thing that is better about JRiver is its ability to handle 3rd party VST and directx plugins, through its own ASIO function - including Winamp plugins. But it's expensive. But then, prior to dumping it into the garbage bin, Winamp also had plugins to add 3rd party VST plugins - and a lot of other capabilities that are just now being introduced into commercial players - but years ago, and for free. Winamp is a "Grande Dame" - and should be saved in some form. It, and its original programmers - and the ones who followed, deserve it. What is your problem with it? I still use it, for many reasons. Excellent Lyrics pull-down, among others. You seem to have a hidden agenda. What is it? Junk...phhht
