For the most part, I don't use an AV because I don't want any security suite taking over my computer and slowing it down. I'll occasionally use Webroot as it has no impact on system resources. Common sense can go a long way!

This is not test which measures how many resources AV uses,

but this test shows how AV is reacting on certain actions such as copying, archiving and downloading, on default settings.

AV-Comparatives seems to get more screwy every year/month. They've gotten worse than that "Top Ten..." site (and that's REALLY, REALLY bad). :footinmouth:

I imagine they've to do this kind of comparatives people see they're working on something, but I think it's not useful. What I'm really wanna know is what AV has the best virus engine, database and the how long it takes in creating a vaccine for 0-day viruses.
