ns870152
LOL performance testAVC must never use these AVs over 1 month Edited November 22, 2013 by ns870152
pintas
This test is BS. In real-life testing, there's hardly one suite faster than ESET. BitDefender and Kaspersky faster than ESET... oh please.
shorty6100
For the most part, I don't use an AV because I don't want any security suite taking over my computer and slowing it down. I'll occasionally use Webroot as it has no impact on system resources. Common sense can go a long way!
0veR
This tests seems not right, hmmm
ande
This is not test which measures how many resources AV uses, but this test shows how AV is reacting on certain actions such as copying, archiving and downloading, on default settings. OrbingStorm
Could one say that the slower the file the more thorough the av is scanning it?
bsvols
AV-Comparatives seems to get more screwy every year/month. They've gotten worse than that "Top Ten..." site (and that's REALLY, REALLY bad). :footinmouth: Edited November 22, 2013 by bsvols
Yorel
I imagine they've to do this kind of comparatives people see they're working on something, but I think it's not useful. What I'm really wanna know is what AV has the best virus engine, database and the how long it takes in creating a vaccine for 0-day viruses.
