I just tested (win7 64bits) all the old keygens and patches with the retail version ...

... they are all working with them (keygen from again, core, mesmerize, onlyone, zwt, and patch from snd (very old one... 2006 !!).

I like this soft. a lot, but there's something it doesn't do: Optimize an image (which PowerISO does).

Example: you've got an image with two identical files, with powerISO, you get a smaller image, because it can detect the duplicate files and optimize the size, (compress) the image, so you get a smaller image

Buggy for me in Win 8.1

When i set virtual drive number to "0" (none), my real DVD drive have dissapeared from my comp :eekout: ...i have to restart to see again my DVD drive.

In event viewer/admin events was listed an Event ID 225.."The application System with process id 4 stopped the removal or ejection for the device USB\VID_125F&PID_1015\83669c624d036f."

Not a good one for my Win 8.1 :uhuh:

Developer still didn't take time to correct AHCI error. It STILL doesn't work with hard drives in AHC Mode. Ridiculous.

jvidal, in newer systems using AHCI driver, instead of IDE driver (AHCI is a newer standard taking over in UEFI bios) you can't burn a dvd with ultraiso. The so called solution is to fix this is BY adding a piece of useless software, the intel matrix storage manager. This works for a few people, but for the majority it is no fix at all. Ultraiso is the only burner I have come across with this problem. Imageburn, nero, poweriso, ashampoo,, gburner, burnaware, isobuster, poweriso, vso blindwrite, you name it, DO NOT have this problem. The only change the developer made to address this issue is to change the error message when you try and burn a dvd. The old error message "Error setting write mode page" has been changed to "DVD-R/RW requires setting mode page to use DAO writing" I guess this is the only fix the developer could come up with. They need to look at the competition. After the error message, the program just halts and the DVD does not get burned. Useless piece of software.

CD/DVD burning is a secondary feature in UltraISO. It's primarily a ISO (or other image types) manipulation software. If u want a good burner use one specifically designed for that purpose.

what you state above may be true...I dunno, I assume it is. However I have never used this soft for burning. I use Imgburn for that. As far as "working" with iso files this is a very good soft. Thanx for the update.

for those with ahci error try and go into drivers and rollback to the MICROSOFT driver and retest.

this goes especially if you are on an AMD64 system.
