System Dump is an exact copy of the Data from the system partition of the device.

Ypu can use it to build your own rom or extract apps from it or modify it..

Basically its the whole ROM which is running on the device.

Don´t try it!

Even if you would be able to flash it on your S3 it will probably be bricked and wont boot anymore.

This is because of totally different hardware.. Every device has its own optimized software and it shouldn´t be tried to flash a ROM from another device..

can we use that dump file on any device such as nexus 5 s dump use on galaxy s3?

You could use a system dump to port the OS to a different device but, you would have to know what you were doing and it would take a lot of testing and debugging to get it to work. You would have to cook it up in your own Kitchen.
