hallucinojerk
Does anyone here still using IE web browser? I like how IE starts, it's way too fast than any of my web browser installed in my system, however, I'd like to know if there is a great way to block those nasty ads that keeps on popping up while browsing. Do you know any adblock filters for IE? I think Adblockplusie is fake.
locoJoe
Good question! I have only IE9...never installed 10 or the new 11. I use it for one thing only, Netflix. My default browser is FF. I have big headaches trying to use Netflix with the way I have FF setup. So whenever I wanna watch Netflix I fire up IE9. I renamed my IE shortcut to "Netflix" and set the homepage to same. :lol:EDIT: sorry forgot to answer the 2nd part of the question...lol...like n0_risk! says...AdblockPlus now for IE too. Pete 12
Using IE11,Win7 x64 with Adblock Pro,works fine, just as it did in IE10. You can update the program too.
SlimRock
IE startup is fast due to no Extensions to load while launching. To get rid of annoying ads you can use AdFender.

Nastrahl
I still use IE sometimes for these reasons :64 bits (welcome to the present times, we are not in 1999 anymore) Faster than any browser (opening and websites loading) Looks better than FF (I'm looking forward Australis :)) Memory friendly Better security with integrated sandbox for plugins You can easily set Internet temporary folder in other drive than the SSD one. Lacius
I would consider using IE11, but a browser that can't display fonts correctly isn't a browser worth using.
