Fallon
Strictly as viewer, yes, I like it too. It's certainly best in the number of formats it can read. And especially nice is XnView's excellent default png-compression, something I don't want to do without.But... hehe... Faststone Viewer is better if you also want the most essential Edit functions, for example to cut and print CD Covers. And since I want these quick functions, to avoid a warhorse like Photoshop most of the time, FSViewer is numero uno, and XnViewer the unavoidable addition. Batman and Robin, if you like.If you want to set viewed images as Desktop Wallpaper a lot, with your viewer, then both XnView and FSViewer could do better.XnView has an awful shortcut for wallpapers, 'Cntrl+NumPad /'. Terrible if your right hand is on the mouse.FSViewer has 'Cntrl+W', which should be better, but it needs an extra click, and just 'W' opens the containing folder, which happens if you don't watch it.In short, ACDSee Pro beats both for setting wallpapers, since a user can determine favourite shortcuts in ACDSee Pro (just 'W').
