unknownasphyxiated
I don't have that path in my system. How do I check the Tun Mirror and what would I be looking for in the firewall?you need to "RUN" gpedit.msc to see the path unless you're running win 7 starter/home B/P which disable Group Policyyou need to enable it first to run itthe easiest way to check for Tun Mirror would be Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections or "Programs and Features"

Knightmare
Temporarily anyway. I changed my user variables to C:\Windows\Temp and it works, but I can't change it to my %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\temp like it should be. Anyone have any suggestions for this? Here is my current fix: Edited November 23, 2013 by Knightmare

Knightmare
Control Panel > TroubleshootingI found that and it looks like it's already checked. Anyway, I just reloaded an image from last month and the problem was solved.
Knightmare
So after reloading the image from October onto my system, the problem came back after a few days. I'm wondering if some program that I have installed is causing the problem. The thing is I don't know what it would be. The only things I have installed were Java updates, the new Sims 3 games with the latest patch, DVD-Cloner 2014, and Cyberlink PowerDirector. unknownasphyxiated
try this..the only thing that they did was gain registry permission and register jscript.dllhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/b7d1a35f-3759-4217-91ba-e4416ac19d78/how-do-you-fix-error-code-0x80004005?forum=jscriptuse Windows Repair AIO-reset registry & file(system partition only) permission-register system file-repair IE( if IE working fine,no need )-repair windows update( if WU working fine,no need )also try thisi don't know if you already click "View All" at troubleshooting page because you only said that you found the option to download for new troubleshooter checkedtry to click "View All" if you haven't done thatthe only thing that "View All" do is download new version of troubleshooter and might replace any obsolete or corrupt fileelse try to backup and remove the file inside the directory if possible and try click "View All" againif the problem still exist, i don't think that you need windows troubleshooter as you already downloaded the alternative troubleshooter given by tezzadon't select all, only select Renew internet connection and flush dns resolver cacheother repair tool you can find inside Windows Repair AIO..just use it until you decided to do clean/repair install
Knightmare
I was thinking about trying this. I know that Windows AIO could probably work; however, I don't like the idea of adding admin rights to ALL of my files. I would just want to add the rights to the necessary ones. If it comes down to it, then I will use the tool, but I think I'm on to something with loading the image from October.

Well either way, I tried this and it fixed the troubleshooting error temporarily. I was able to troubleshoot one or two times, then it went back to the same error, and then my internet would say it was working but I couldn't load websites at all. I tried uninstalling all of my network drivers and reinstalling them, but now I'm back to square one.
Knightmare
BIG UPDATE!I know the cause of the problem! I was doing some customizing to my start menu in Windows 7 Manager. I made a few adjustments and had to restart explorer.exe with each change. After about the 3rd or 4th restart, the problem came back. Now the only question is how to fix the problem. unknownasphyxiated
maybe try update your windows 7 manager to latest version or go to their forum(if exist) to see if someone else with the same problem
