Hello friends i recently changed my isp my revious isp is bsnl I am using D-link dsl2730u router for bsnl so now my question is can u i use the same router for my new isp? because it provides network thru rj45 and my router is wireless router need quick help

I am actually able to connect thru router to my PC i just plug he isp cable to other port of the router and router to pc by RJ45

though i am able to connect to my cellfone(android) but some how not able to surf the internet on cell fone though i manually changed the ip on cell fone

so i hav some doubts is it my router working like switch?

Not sure why your changing IP, you shouldn't need too at all, unless you have a complex network setup which specifically requires you to allocate IP addresses manually, DHCP within the router settings should sort that out for you.

thanx for all the help guys .... i've come to know there is no way i can use the adsl router for dsl connection cause the adsl technology is different than dsl broadband
