phillthedrill
If you downloaded office 2010 to a folder, then look for proof.msi and hit browse on there to direct it to where proof.msi is in the folder you downloaded for office. It will go away once it installs the files it needs.
jimbojet2011
If you installed office ( you have deleted the installation files that were used when the program is installing ) it is in the MSO map.Its a secret map that you cant see without making system files visible. So you can solve the problem by installing office again and not deleting ( MSO map ) the files no more! H4rDw4rE
Like other members said, you should install office with all options checked or uncheck that you don't want but don't leave it as install on first use.Now you can use repair option but you need install media from where you installed office for first time (DVD, iso or folder with extracted office files). And after that you can delete MSO directory (I do it, it is to much ond SSD to keep that files) or don't if you prefer to keep it.Regards.
