Today In my Task manager, I saw a service named nlssrv32.exe running.

Nalpeiron Licensing Service

I don't know from which software installation it has come..

here's the properties...

VirusTotal Report:

As from the above report, nothing looks suspicious, but I don't understand which software does it belong to?

I use most of the softwares medicated, so it may deactivate the registration of the related software if it keeps running in background..

Anyone Plz help to make it clear...

should I delete it or leave it as it is..??

Ok.. I had tried Nitro pro 5-6 days before.. but I have already uninstalled it..

Then I think I can delete it..

Caution is advised if you wish to delete this service, it's a licensing component (copy protection) for some software

Nitro Pdf pro as emerglines said.. I have uninstalled it.

Might be wrong, but other software use this as well, not just Nitro.

Don't delete it, it may cause bad problems that can take time to fix, i give you the safe way to clean it, by disabling it then remove it from registry and the exe file.

If you don't want to delete, then - Right Click on the process in the Task Manager>Open Services>Double click and change startup type from auto to manual. Also, "Stop service". If you don't see the service in the Task Manager, Run> services.msc and scroll down to the program/service. Now disable (or delete) from list of startup items. :)

EDIT: Also, check the Task Scheduler to see if it has created a task to start it at every log on or something. Delete it in that case. Now it will only start if and when you want it to start and not eat up resources otherwise

So 3 areas to check overall - 1> Services; 2> StartUp items; and 3> Task Scheduler :)
