T0nyB
Thanks for the giveaway. Got myself a license. :)First impressions:The positive:My system seems much snappier then before (had Bitdefender Total Security installed), the installation proccess went by smoothly, without any hiccups. Detected one infection on my system after initial scan (facebook update.exe in Open folder in Roaming, what ever that program did, from June this year), Bitdefender never reveled it as a threat. No additional add-ons/extensions to browsers. Scans are quick and effective. The UI seems clean and understandable, very logical placement of settings. All seems understandable at first glance. Cleaner and more beautiful interface then last years (had Webroot installed in my moms laptop a year ago). The negative: Miss the Facebook links check, that Bitdefender had, but no biggy, isn't that important for me. :)Rest of the experience will come in time.First thoughts: Love it! :)
AlexCross
What's the point using it if in 2-3 weeks they will block the licenses from their own giveaway.
weylin
What's the point using it if in 2-3 weeks they will block the licenses from their own giveaway. No, this is a legitimate promo. 6 months. The 2-year promo was a license ripped from Barclays Bank in the UK. TShadow
It's not bad, small on resources. I'm only missing the exclude a whole drive or folder from scanning, instead you must do it on a single file basis. That is very annoying. I know they believe that would be a security hole, but then Eset does allow it.
shorty6100
Webroot can scan the entire computer faster than Eset (or any other) can scan a single drive.
