So, it's time to buy a new book.

My budget is 40k indian bucks and minimum expection is:

CPU: 3rd gen. i3 or good AMD variant.

GPU: Intel HD 4000 or better.

Memory:4GB at least.

Storage:320GB at least.

Display: must be a 11.6 or 13.3 incher (14 incher? will consider that if there are no other options left). The minimum quality of display should be 1366x768 ANTI-GLARE.

I have a few in my sight. Tell me if you guys find any better than those.

HP pavillion TouchSmart 11-e006AU (AMD APU dual core)

Sony vaio T13 (i3)

Lenovo Ideapad U310 (59-342831) (i5)

Lenovo Ideapad S210T (59-379334) (i3)

Asus F202E-CT148H VivoBook (i3)

only tell you, not to buy HP

And what could be the reason behind that?

Well, I in my own experience, I had one with an AMD processor, and did not last two years, at 18 months was damaged motherboard.
And I've met other people with similar cases, always with HP or Compaq (both from the same manufacture)

If you can find someone with a stanchart card(debit/credit any of'em will do) then this model with AMD A10 5750m will cost you ~35K

Alrternatively you can choose from this mix & get the best model yourself.

I just realized all of them are Ultrabook (no optical drive)

anyway I only prefer ASUS. :)

Yeah, now my sight is on Asus VivoBook F202E-CT148H

11.6 incher.

Thanks for your suggestion but they are not ultrabook. I'm looking for 11.6/13.3 inch variants.

I thought you were fine with AMD APU based laptops ~

I have a few in my sight. Tell me if you guys find any better than those.

Anyways for ~40K I don't think there are very many small(er) ultrabooks in the Indian market, maybe in the US but certainly not here, cause you'll have to compromise on the CPU/GPU or some other front which will not be appropriate in my opinion.

Thanks for your suggestion but they are not ultrabook. I'm looking for 11.6/13.3 inch variants.

Offtopic:

Might be useful checking the customer feedback on those sites that offer those models to prevent repeating the overheating history that lead to the downfall of a certain branded laptop (I think that was a Sorry, oops it's a Sony).

Actually, the overheating issue that I suffered was due to the blockage of internal outlet vent of the fan, not for any technical issue related with the sillicon pieces.
