I already use this software - It's a really good bit of kit - I work for a university and it speeds up the imaging of new machines by ten fold - Also it allows you to reimage a machine from an image on a network - So In theory you could do a whole room at once if you so chose.

:showoff:

FYI,If you don't need incremental/differential imaging/backup files/folders..you can use free edition...

That's what I've been doing for a while now and I am very satisfied with this software. The pro version on the other hand also has the option to recover your OS on dissimilar hardware.

A feature which is non negligible imho -_-

FYI: Another feature that Pro Version has, that Free Version cannot do is: Backup Files

Been using "FREE VERSION" for Years, am hoping some nice person will Share .....Macrium Reflect ver: 5.2.6427 (64-bit) Professional Edition, or any (Professional version 5) that will work with x64 bit.

If you are really into this software, and it has been serving you so well in many years, you definitely have to consider purchasing it.

I second that comment about pensions, I have wanted to get this software for years, but could not due to financial shortcomings.

This is not the only piece of software that i have not been able to use.

I use the free edition to back up a fresh install of Windows. As far as files go - I just back those up on DVD-R's. Not much need to use the paid version.

Good strategy. I do the same with Macrium free only for imaging system disk/partition. For file backup, I backup all important documents in the cloud, just copy photos and family vidoes on at least two external HDDs without using any third party backup tool. I never find the need to use a third party FILE backup tool. Windows explorer is the best file backup tool in my opinion. Using a third party file backup tool can only introduce potential corrupted backups if there is software glithces. WIth windows explorer, there is no such problem.
