Cramsdeath
I already use this software - It's a really good bit of kit - I work for a university and it speeds up the imaging of new machines by ten fold - Also it allows you to reimage a machine from an image on a network - So In theory you could do a whole room at once if you so chose. :showoff:

lurch234
FYI,If you don't need incremental/differential imaging/backup files/folders..you can use free edition...That's what I've been doing for a while now and I am very satisfied with this software. The pro version on the other hand also has the option to recover your OS on dissimilar hardware.A feature which is non negligible imho -_-

Whoopenstein
I use the free edition to back up a fresh install of Windows. As far as files go - I just back those up on DVD-R's. Not much need to use the paid version.
oliverjia
Good strategy. I do the same with Macrium free only for imaging system disk/partition. For file backup, I backup all important documents in the cloud, just copy photos and family vidoes on at least two external HDDs without using any third party backup tool. I never find the need to use a third party FILE backup tool. Windows explorer is the best file backup tool in my opinion. Using a third party file backup tool can only introduce potential corrupted backups if there is software glithces. WIth windows explorer, there is no such problem.I use the free edition to back up a fresh install of Windows. As far as files go - I just back those up on DVD-R's. Not much need to use the paid version. Edited October 31, 2013 by oliverjia
