Minimize problem Windows 7 beta

If you are working on the beta build of Windows 7 you should have noticed that you couldnt minimize Windows Live Messenger 9 to the Notification Area. Instead it minimizes to the taskbar.

To fix this issue follow the steps:

1) First exit Windows Live Messenger.

2) Goto the Windows Live Messenger shortcut and right click on it.

3) A new window will appear, select the Compatibilty tab.

4) Check the Run this program in compatibility mode option and change it to Vista. And press OK. (See screenshot).

5) Now run Windows Live Messenger again, and try minimizing.
