solution :)

just edit you hosts file, located in

c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/host
and add
127.0.0.1 player.kmpmedia.net
this will prevent the kmplayer to connect to the internet and no sidebar will appear!

for editing hosts file, you can download the freeware program at

This version is stuffed to the gills with spyware and ads now, some of which can be eliminated with effort but it's just not worth it now. This once-great app is absolute trash now and I suggest that everyone dump it for far better alternatives (there are lots, take your pick).

It was a good software a few years ago...then was sold by the guy who is developing Daum Potplayer and sense then became a :shit: . Shouldn`t be frontpaged...!

i dont use kmplayer lot just for to make those thumbnail.

but do this host file step even works for portable edition to stop those crap adds
