jalaffa
Dropbox is a storage application and service operated by Evenflow, Inc. The service enables users to store and sync files online and between computers. Dropbox has a cross-platform client (Windows, Mac and Linux) that enables users to drop any file into a Dropbox folder that is then synced to the web and the users' other computers with the Dropbox client. Files in the Dropbox folder may then be shared with other Dropbox users or accessed from the web. Users may also upload files manually through a web browser. A free Dropbox account offers 2 GB of storage. Users may upgrade to 50 GB by paying a monthly or yearly fee. The total amount of storage space of both the free and fee-based accounts may be increased by an extra 3 GB for free accounts and 6 GB for fee-based accounts by referring others to the service.Download

Marik
Has anyone used this? If so a feedback would be appreciated -thanks.The DropBox service is by far, the best hosting service around. It simply pisses all over rapidshare (yes...you rs fanboys, start crying).DropBox can do what no other upload hosting site can doIt, can host images as well as files and videos, and it has a hotlink support, which makes is the numba oneThe upload speed depends on (guess what?) your HD transfer rate...yes that's right. I uploaded the eset installers (4 in total which exceed 100 MB) in less than 20 seconds. (yes all 4 of them). Sometimes the upload speed will cap at around 60 KB, but for the most part...it's instant upload all the way.you can add photos and make ppl see them just like when you would upload them to tinypic. The only way the installers would fail, is when you delete them from you HD (yeah, this can also be considered a downfall if you can very little space to begin with, but if not it's a blessing in disguise). No more "plx upload this, plx upload that replies" cause unless you deliberately remove the installers from you HD, their dl link will never expire.Overall DropBox get a perfect 10 on my behalf. The only downfall is that you start with 2 GB space, but you can quickly expend that to 50 GB by making other ppl register there via your referral link.
