Pete 12
Using the good old Acronis 2010 now for several years, works perfect on Win7 x64. A Try&Decide-modus comes with it.You can use a boot-CD or a F11-option for backing up or restoring your OS to an earlier time. Really recommend this solid software, not bloated or tricky, but very reliable!
Ponting
Macrium Reflect Free edition would be ok unless you want to do file/folder backups and incremental/differential backup images of your OS...I am using Image for Windows for backup/restore of Windows 8.1... alexxf
Another free alternative is AOMEI Backupper; fast, light and reliable. It supports GPT and UEFI Boot, incremental and differential backups.
