what is use of it ?

how to access it ?

how to clean up it ?

i had seen couple of days back problem with system volume information.virus file which was deleted several days ago stored there and give me alert of it same again by kis 2013

actually it wasnt virus file .i download kas trial reset to test it on virustotal and after it deleted by means of kis 2013 and when i tried to sign-in @8pm that day it came back alert again

so finally i want to clean up system volume information for to erase this non sense :)

in order to clean system volume information, you need to delete system restore point

you can use CCleaner/Windows Disk Cleanup to delete all but the latest one

System Volume Information is where windows system restore files are located. If you do not want to use this folder then disable System Restore.

The folders will still be there , you cannot remove them. These folders are Windows System Folders , you should NOT be wanting to remove folders that are System Folders unless you know exactly what they do and are certain you don't need them...
