Need some help with wrecking Adware

So I have this problem with a browser hijacker. I have tried AdwCleaner with no luck. Its the DoSearches Browser Hijacker and it integrated itself in Firefox and IE by opening the DoSearches webpage at startup. How do I shred this thing into a million pieces? AdwCleaner wiped the remnants of the adware installers and the registry keys attached to them so I have no idea what's going on with my PC.

A scan with an updated MBAM seemed to have done it. I'll reboot to check.

EDIT: Nope, still there. I'm sending the Hitman (Pro).

Thanks boys! I'll try that out tomorrow when I get the chance. So far SAS will be my next ride since the IRC of Firefox recommended that I use that.

This kind of problems is really easy to solve - reset your Firefox and IE -> more details here :

Run CCleaner (freeware)

1; Cleaner

2; Registry

3; Tools -> Start-Up entries - disable any that isn't needed

if that does not fix it download this HiJackThis (freeware)

1: create a log-file

2; upload to here Pastebin

3: come back to this topic and post the pastebin link

Scan computer with TDSSKiller (Tick the box loaded modules)(may require restart) (freeware)

Copy the log to pastebin then provide the link here also

if anything comes back in your logs it helps people to point you in the right direction instead of people throwing random programs at you.

and nothing yet.

I had haved this problem and any tool for kill and detect malware never was good for me, the only solution was uninstall DoSearches Browser, the program folder and the uninstaller are in C:\Users\YourUser\AppData\Local\ or in C:\Users\YourUser\AppData\Roaming\.
