Kaspersky eats above 3GB HDD

ESET ~500MB

3gb :o ...

i have used kaspersky in past.. some2/3 yrs back that time kaspersky wont eat so much of hdd.the new kas really pwned then.

abt Eset is there any way to make it use less hdd, except always clearing those update cache

its 7GB :o

is this urs pc snapshot ?

in which year u living dude.. it shows 2012

No, it's not in my PC

I use RollbackRX, so I needn't use a big-strong AV

I give an example to show to the topic that an AV eats HDD is normal

unknownasphyxiated

i don't think i have any log file that beyond 1024mb because that is the default setting for report

the highest would be 1mb

if you correct the time and date, maybe the problem wouldn't exist

try check which file that taken the space

if the same problem like ns870152, then try to disable the logging function

Why don't you cap the log file limit, to say 500kb ?, it's not as if you'll ever really delv into it anyhow (it looks as though it's appending to an existing log file)

I do the same with pretty much all my apps.
