Blackchildcx
this is just a post...if u are bothered or bored dont read it or just ignore...;-) But I was pretty pissed....realy..Hey Nsane volks,I faced some proplems with my Win 8 and thought that could be worth a share.. Win told me that there are lots of updates to take but when I tried to download them it takes hours and still 0% downloaded. So I decide to repair the update function with microsofts build in repair feat. After a reboot the same shit again. :huh:I used Yamicsofts Win 8 Manager repair to fix the issue…but…what can I say.. :wtf:but know always a error window poppin up!DAMN!! :angry:OK..A friend of mine told me that sometoimes the servers from M$ are to weak to handle all the stuff they should, but the next day same old freakin shit! :huh:I used all my knowledge to fix that bullshit situation wastin my nerves and time..Using:SFCSearch and edit the registryClean cache..Usin Fix it from M$tried different conections..checked all tweaks I use.....And so on….with no (positive) results. :angry:OK, what else can I do? :huh:Reinstall? :thumbsdown:Got an image made with AX64 Time Machine, but that should be one of my last options. :shit:I have just remembered that ...theres a nifty little tool I saw first time here @ NSANE.Tweakingcom Windows repair AIO. :doh:Searched, found, used.First I used Win Update Repair (of course) unfortunately with no success. So I tiked all checkmarks and run the repairs. Then I checked the M$ updates and Windows repair AIO told me theres an update.(M$ still want update) :angry2:grabed the 1.9.0.18 release did the same whole repair and reboot the damned laptop, and…. SUCCESS! :win: :thumbsup:All good again. Windows repair can be a lifesaver .So now I wonder did anybody faced the same situation..Were´s the error? (logfile didnt told me)Andi s it maybe true that the M$ servers are to weak sometimes?---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My OS is Win 8 *64 (Enterprise)Anyway..wish you all a goooooood evening (and all updates you want) ;);-) Edited October 4, 2013 by Blackchildcx
emerglines
I guess the problem was just some SSL certs which are not correctly installed !
phazesm
hello dear friend.. its absolutely not related to the weakness of Microsoft windows update servers.. even from Iran (my country) with this amount of users, updates always were successful.. except the windows 8.1 even for activation process (sometimes) because its not officially released yet and Microsoft has no responsibility about that.. its still in preview but the RTM is leaked from mid august and it will work as ever perfectly after the official release time to public in about the mid October.. so no need to do any special thing.. its just about the time you tried to update.. sometimes it fails sometimes with success in the time manner :) now I'm using Windows 8.1 Enterprise (RTM 9600) and activation or updates with no failure also downloading amazingly from Microsoft store.Best regards dude
Blackchildcx
Ok -what I did...I checked all SSL certs using the offline updater tool..It checks the certs and yes--told me that i got uncert files and solved the issue..But sometimes I update app store its that kind of slow..But I told my friend the same..Its almost imposs that M$ servers are to slow...they serve the whole world..Thanx for response! ;)
