Jota.Ce
The only way to get a genuine WinXP without a crac* is changing your key to another one.You can change it with BAT methods and EXE methods, just read some post above.Once changed, you can test if it's genuine here:http://www.microsoft.com/Genuine (click on Validate Windows)

Jota.Ce
Use MagicJellyBeanKeyFinder.exe to change your existing key.Use Windows Key Generator.exe to find a genuine key.KeyGens usually generate valid keys for using WinXP, but... genuine ???I'll download it for next time i'm in trouble, but it's hard for me to believe... Jota.Ce
Use Windows Key Generator.exe to find a genuine key.Use this and you'll get a fine keylogger (trojan?).First impression: No window open when i clicked on it...Second: Checked autoruns, one entry in registry to autorun at start one EXE called "Windows Security Fixes backup" or something similar...Third: That entry leads me to one folder in My Documents with an EXE and a log with keystrokes and windows text labels...ESET didn't think it was a risk...http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/6aa97c6...08af5f814158bb8I'm getting very little afraid of infections as they're so lame... (only 2 spywares stole me administrator privileges and they were hard to beat).Only bad thing here is i'll have to pass Spybot again to be sure i'm clean now...Very bad pack !!!Edit: I've de-UPXed 2 EXEs in the pack and i'm sure they're viruses as i'm been able to see Dialogs and Menus of those programs with ResHacker:MagicJellyBeanKeyFinder.exeWindows Key Generator.exeOnce de-UPXed, files have different hash, obviously:http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/93ed6ce...df0a7cb3d4f603f
Marik
A friend of mine who was using this very key, also saw that after this month's win update, the key got blacklisted and his windows wasn't genuine anymore. This is in a way funny, as I use the same key, and my windows didn't go un-genuine after this month's update. KotaXor
Yes, there is folder created called 'backup', there is a process running call 'Windows security....'. Its because you are running the Key generator.Just stop the process in Task Manager and you can delete 'backup" folder.Whether you want to use the fix or not, the choice is yours.I have use it and found it useful.(as least for me!)I have run Malwarebyte after deleting and found no spyware.Anything that try to change Microsoft keys is flag as virus, if afraid, please do not use it! :lmao:

If you use the web-based stuff you'll be found earlier :lmao:

Bizarre™
@Marik:Maybe your friend downloaded the Windows Validation Tool(a program that generates some kind of hash, then you need to copy / paste it to the browser).Edit:Typo :P

Jota.Ce
Anything that try to change Microsoft keys is flag as virus, if afraid, please do not use it! :PNot with BAT methods and the most famous EXE method...I saw dialogs and menus from that 2 EXEs and they're not related to key substitution... (one even had one menu option "Stop Script"). You all can de-UPX all EXEs and see what's inside with ResHacker, it's very easy...Only one EXE had the "XP Key Recoverer and Discoverer" label in its titlebar. But i had that EXE and it was very different externally (and it didn't always find genuine keys, so i deleted it). Jelly Bean EXE didn't seem Jelly Bean i have at anything....Finally, a keygen doesn't log your keystrokes (i executed it). Strange thing is my firewall didn't tell me about connection attempts... but ESS firewall is very poor.Very very very weird, isnt' it?

Jota.Ce
How do you call a software that copies itselt to another folder at your backside, logs your keystrokes, and adds itself to registry to run at windows bootup ???No, the response is not "any M$ software"...Maybe some other people want to execute it to let us know... (and teach me who i should trust on)
