Justin-Bieber-Gets-Batman-vs-Superman-Sc tb_zoom.gif - Justin Bieber teases he might be up for Robin role in “Batman vs. Superman”

When Ben Affleck was cast as Batman in Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel” sequel, “Batman vs. Superman,” the Internet nearly blew a fuse. The outrage is far from over but do brace yourself for more, because chances are Justin Bieber just got cast for the Robin role.

Either that or he’s just trolling us, big time.

Hours ago, Justin posted the above photo on his Instagram: it’s a selfie that also includes a “Bieber” watermarked script of the film (which seems legit), and which comes with the caption “#Robin ??”

In other words, he’s letting his fans know that he got his hands on a script and that he may be auditioning or have already been cast for the role of Batman’s sidekick.

The whole thing could be just a hoax, but there are several things that don’t support this theory, as much as it pains me to admit.

First of all, Bieber doesn’t lead his fans on, especially not on social media, which, right now, is his biggest promotional platform.

Secondly, you need to ask yourself this: why would he get a script for one of the hottest movies of the next couple of years if he wasn’t somehow involved in it or, at best, looking to be?

Useless to say, those who have considered these two aspects are already online, pleading with Snyder, Warner Bros., and the powers that be to ditch Bieber to the curb. Or else.

  :protest: :protest: :protest:
