I probably should not be revealing this, but the ninja squad is said to pick up members and turning them into veterans without any very serious damage after used in testing. Thing is that I'm not welcomed by them any more :( They said that I should provide more fresh meat.

At first, aim vor VIP, that can be achieved by spamming "Thanks" or simply "k, thx, bay" under software updates. You can just STRG+C and STRG+V directly from here.

What also can help is posting a simple "hi" sentence into topics of the new members introduction section, just use STRG+C and STRG+V directly from here again. Good luck!

I think you have to go to war with another forum :P

I did not ask for advice

I bet i'm one of those members here that achieved that without asking or bidding or spamming the forums with meaningless s#it or simple thanks posts, it tooks long enough membership and content for me compared to others until i got VIP because i always wanted to post good, quality and informative stuff. That is why both groups don't mean that much anymore, it was more valuable some time ago and a privilege/honor to not get another group assigned with just cr@p postings, if you don't believe it, ask others that are here for years, they know what i mean. I don't care if i'm a regular member, VIP or whatever, it's just a color in first place, nothing more and if it's something you deserve, time will tell.

There are two ways you can become, one of them is manual promotion. We manually promote members to higher status if we think the member deserves it.

And don't think all the ViPs and Veterans are spammers. Reaching that milestone requires high amount of effort and contribution to the forums. This includes but not limited to posting good quality and self tested softwares, helping members with their problems and confusions, caring not about yourself, but about other members, staff, and the forums.

Posting isn't the whole thing either, posting in correct forum, respecting the rules, reporting posts that require moderator attention and other things are as important as above.

As for the Thanks and other type of spamming, we have a specific rule against it:

The use of the 'Like'-button is preferred over simply posting 'Thanks' or something similar. Making an excessive amount of posts which add little to nothing to a topic might result in a post count reduction.

The rule we are actively enforcing to maintain the quality of the forums.

top requirement : you must 55 years old and above to join ;)

In that case I can't wait 30 more years to be Veteran.. :P ( I doubt the forum will exist that much longer).

I'll better apply for Moderators :w00t:

@ Lite.. sun raha hai na tu..
