Today I was trying WindowBlinds 8 in my windows 8 laptop. After Installation, I copied the Keygen(RNDD Repack) into the Installation folder and then ran as admin. It saved license successfully but when I tried to Patch I got the error..

I started Task manager but I didn't find any process or program named WbSrv..

Edit: In "services" I found this but it's already stopped, even if i disabled it still the same issue..

Anyway, has anyone noticed the bigger buttons(Minimize, Restore down & Close) in windows explorer after yesterday's windows Update ?

or Is it Windowblinds 8 effects? (I'm Using default theme)

It maybe worth running the sfc /scannow routine and then re-patching the theme files.

Will it affect my update or any other program settings??

As I'm facing the same problem, what did you EXACTLY do ? 'the' service ? what service ? tried to find it, but the closest I came to was 'Windows Biometric Service'

In 'Services' search for Stardock windowBlinds service or windowblind service then go to its properties and select 'disabled' in drop down list of Startup Type where 'Automatic' will be already selected. After that reboot the system apply the patch and make the service startup type 'Automatic' again..

I still have problems. the patching is done, be the program itself isn't patch, and every time I clink on that shiny blue 'Apply Changes', it does nothing and redirect me to this URL.

makr sure to run the Patch with admin right, and this Patch works only with windowBlinds version 8. no patch available for version 8.1 :(

Well, I'm running 9.01 version. Too bad, I thought it was compatible since it was on nsane.down.

Lol! but no cure still available for the latest version..You can revert back to version 8, it's compatible for windows 8..

(Not sure about windows 8.1)
