tezza
These are answers from MS for users having this problem, can't connect to the windows store.Method 1Download and run New UI App troubleshooter and check.http://download.microsoft.com/download/F/2/4/F24D0C03-4181-4E5B-A23B-5C3A6B5974E3/apps.diagcabMethod 2Check if the date, time and time zone is set according to your time and time zone.Follow the steps to set the date and time:a. Press Windows key + C on your keyboard to show the Charms bar.b. Type “Date and Time” in the charms bar search.c. Click Change date and time button (To change the time zone click on time zone tab).d. Click Apply and Ok to save the date and time.Method 3clear the Windows Store cache.a) Click on the “Windows+R” key simultaneously and type “WSReset.exe” (without the quotes) and hit “Enter”. Now, try to launch and connect to the app store.Method 4I would have you check the proxy settings on Internet Explorer.Refer the steps-a) Open Internet Explorer and click on “Tools” and then “Internet Options”. Now, select the “connections” tab and then “LAN settings”.c) Uncheck the box next to “Use a proxy server for your LAN”.d) Click on “Ok” and check. If none of these work a Refresh is the only way to correct, as most users have found.(This is first thing i check to see if working correctly now after an install of Win8/8.1)EditIf your apps are always stuck at pending and will not download Open an administrative command prompt (go to the Start screen, type "cmd", right-click on Command Prompt and hit "Run as administrator") Type the following four commands in the command prompt: net stop wuauserv cd %systemroot% ren SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old net start wuauserv Try downloading app again.
